Live Edge Bench # 3

I purchased a set of walnut slabs (milled from the same tree) a decade ago in SE MN without a project in mind for the wood. At the time, my plan was to let the slabs dry for a few years and then mill the slabs down into boards, etc. There were a number of times over the years that I thought I would cut up the slabs for other projects, but I never could bring myself to do that. Ultimately, I decided to let the slabs stay as they grew and made a set of three live edge benches. The first bench is this series has sold, but I still have the second and third available.

Origin story aside, this bench is perfect for an entryway, the foot of your bed or as a small coffee table (or anywhere else you want to put a bench). This walnut bench features staked octagonal legs, maple wedges and a maple dovetail key. Bench is 18" high, 12-18" deep and 55" wide. Free delivery in Minnesota.
