Canopy Woodcraft
The specific idea of operating a woodworking business is something I began thinking about in 2010, but has really been taking shape most of my life. Lessons learned from family, friends and mentors have helped shape my creativity and approach to work. While much of my professional work experience has been focused on education, I knew from the first moment I used a handplane that I am meant to be a woodworker.
I have two goals with Canopy Woodcraft. First, I want to provide hand made goods that look superb, are durable and are used. The items in my shop are inspired by the areas of my life that give me joy: my family, cooking/baking, hygge and outdoor recreation.

Second, I want to design and build furniture that has timeless appeal and is built to last. Hopefully, my pieces will evoke some of the same feelings you get when sitting under a tree and look up at it's canopy.
